About Company

Background: A previous client (a $25B multinational clothing-retail company) wanted to re-hire us after successfully completing various large projects. After showcasing our expertise time and time again, they were confident in selecting us to design and built out a new (square footage) facility in Central Jersey.

The Project

Scope: The project was divided into several phases, in a way that would allow them to begin their operations as quickly as possible. This required the careful elaboration of a project plan that would allow their operators, as well as our installers to safely work in tangent.

Solution: Phase 1 consisted of erecting the pallet racking structure for the pick module. While it was originally designed to feature numerous carton-picking levels, the client’s operation evolved halfway though the installation of Phase 1. Headzup adapted to the client’s new needs, a considerable amount of garment storage, and provided a practical, elegant solution that wouldn’t result in the customer having to incur a tremendous amount of additional costs.

Phase 2, the installation of 34,500 sq. feet of High Bay Selective Racking, was originally supposed to occur immediately after Phase 1. Due to setbacks brought about by the electrical/lighting contractors, Headzup’s Project Management and Installation teams collaborated with the client to create a new timeline that wouldn’t adversely affect their operation.
