About Company

Background: A previous client, with whom we’ve worked on typical pallet racking projects in the past, reached out to us on a new pick module project to add to their existing structure. The client, a $6B Department Store Retailer, had a multi-year plan for expansion of their current capacities, however the services of their last installation team left much to be desired. Upon inspecting the As-built conditions of the current warehouse space, our Team began optimizing a comprehensive list of materials and layout needed to meet our client’s expectations for both capacity and cost. Our client was able to rest easy knowing a dedicated team of specialists and engineers were reviewing every detail down to the screws. We completed this project more than a month ahead of schedule which bought our client back some time to jump start their operations.

The Project

Scope: The first phase of the project involved re-bracing an existing, adjacent system to reduce sway and eliminate misaligned monorail components. The second phase consisted of designing, engineering, and installing a 3-level pitch rail system for the storage/conveyance of outerwear garments.

Timeline:

Outcome

The customer was very happy with Headzup’s installation. When viewed side by side, the difference in strength between Headzup’s Mezzanine and the one created by the Other Guys was night and day. After our build out was finished the client hired us to come back and reinforce the existing mezzanine and adjust their system to better meet their operational needs. This involved not only listening to our client’s requests and suggestions, but also proposing solutions that from our experience would better suit them. We’ve developed a close bond as a knowledgeable and cooperative consulting firm committed to our clients happiness and success.
